Sacco: "How many clips are contained on the Lofts video CD that's in front of you? Athaide: "Twenty clips." Athaide misrepresents that he captured 20 clips when he went out to the Lofts, and that same CD he captured still has 20 clips on it at trial. I guarantee you the defense was never given any notes or reports that said Athaide captured 20 clips at the Lofts. Because they were staring at 18 clips, with no timestamps, for over two years. These new clips would have been created using some secret repository of video, after Mandi's attorneys were told the original video had been lost. Suddenly the video had been found, and had full chain-of—custody logs at the ASPD, and new timestamps. Alison Smolarek: "there's something called The Loft Video Powerpoint. That would have been at MBFZ. That would've been created from the video on the lost hard drive from JA-1... JA would be Jackson Athaide." You don’t need Athaide to tell you the original video had timestamps. Athaide: "While we were reviewing the video footage, there's a time stamp that's actually on the video itself." Athaide: "That footage will not be manipulated. It can't actually be -- even be accessed through the Epiphan. All it does is create, essentially, like a screenshot, where you can take a video of what’s coming from that computer or from that DVR. So then, with the Epiphan, I have the ability to press a record button, and essentially it just records whatever is being played on the computer or that DVR." Matthews Bark: "And so the actual DVR system was never removed from the Lofts; is that correct?" Athaide: "Not to my knowledge." Athaide: "The clips were originally -- were originally taken a while ago. And then we wanted some clips that had -- had time stamps on them, so I made the same clips again." Stewart Stone: "It's -- it’s for -- for Scott Love's Tria ." Long story short, they will hide the video, add timestamps, and do whatever the fuck they want with it. In Seminole County, nobody sees anything strange about this, it is standard practice. At trial, Stone and Sprague executed a plan to lie, when Stone stated that Sprague did not recognize the dog walker in the new video, and Sprague agreed that he did not. Stone: "Now this man -- you don’t recognize this man with the two --" Sprague: "No, sir." Stone: "-- dogs? Okay. And you have seen this clip before, correct?" Remember the sequence in the original 18 clips, that took the unusual 42-minute gap to lay out, based on the file modification times. 4:51 - Mulrenin exits freight elevator and walks out to sidewalk 4:53 - Love walks in same freight entrance behind dog walker 4:54 - Jackson meets Mulrenin at sidewalk outside same freight entrance So there was a dog walker who would have seen all of this, could have seen all of this. His dogs could have been crossing the street to the empty lot toward Denny's, when Jackson drove up and almost hit them. His dogs could have met Mulrenin and Love on the sidewalk. He could have seen Love get out of Jackson's car, to prove they were colluding. He could have seen Love waiting to sneak in the building. He could have seen Love staking him out the same time a previous day. He could have known Love, and arranged to let Love in the building. III - 36
